Fine Shades provides painting and related services exclusively within the Province of Alberta, Canada.
Estimates & Pricing
All estimates are based on visual inspection and information available at the time of quoting. Prices may change due to additional preparation, hidden damage, or scope changes. Any additional work must be approved in writing.DEPOSIT & PAYMENT TERMS
A deposit of 20–50% may be required prior to commencement of work. The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion. Late payments may be charged up to 2% per week and may void warranty coverage.CANCELLATIONS & RECHEDULING
Clients must provide at least 24–48 hours’ notice. Deposits are non-refundable once materials are purchased or work has started.SCOPE OF WORK
Only the work listed in the written estimate is included. Any additional work requires a revised quote.PAINT & MATERIALS
Paint brand, type, and colors must be approved before work begins. Fine Shades is not responsible for manufacturer defects or color dissatisfaction after approval.SURFACE CONDITONS & PREPARATIONS
Fine Shades is not responsible for pre-existing conditions such as cracks, peeling, moisture damage, mold, rot, or structural defects. Drywall repairs are cosmetic unless stated otherwise.CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCESS
Clients must provide safe access, electricity, and water if required. Furniture and valuables should be removed unless agreed otherwise.CLEAN-UP & PROTECTION
Reasonable care will be taken to protect surfaces. Minor splatter, dust, or wear on older surfaces may occur.WARRANTY
A one (1) year workmanship warranty is provided. Warranty excludes normal wear, moisture issues, structural movement, and third-party damage. Full payment is required for warranty validity.SAFETY & LAIBILITY
Fine Shades is not responsible for unsecured pets, children, or items left in work areas.PHOTOGRAPHY & MARKETING
Before-and-after photos may be taken and used for marketing purposes without identifying personal information.GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By approving an estimate, invoice, or allowing work to proceed, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
